Using the phrase “sometime” is not the only way to end a conversation. There are other great ways to do it.

5 Ways to End an English Conversation
- “It was great talking to you.” or “It was nice talking to you.”
- “Get home safe.” or “Get home safely.”
- “I’d love to hear more about (your work) or (your art) or (your project). Would you like to get a coffee?”
- “Maybe we could get a coffee sometime?”
- “I’ll follow up with you next week.” (This can be used in a casual or professional situation). For professional situations learn how to follow up after an interview here.
